This seems like a strange response considering the changes they made to other intersections along Forrest Highway including Greenacres Road, Old Coast Road and Forestry Road. By comparison with the cost of installing merging lanes at these intersections, the cost of changing the speed limit is negligible.
If you agree that speed changes are necessary for our safety, please contact the Shire and/or Main Roads. Decisions can always be reversed.
