Sustainable Development Facilitation Global (SDF) has been contracted by the Shire to work with Councillors, Shire staff and the broader community to develop a new COMMUNITY STRATEGIC PLAN.\u00a0 The purpose of this project is to develop a 20 year Community Strategic Plan for the Shire of Waroona using the Council\u2019s Strategic Plan 2005-2025 as a basis for review.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The plan will form part of the Council\u2019s integrated planning framework and is to provide a platform for the Council to report and respond to the Community\u2019s priority issues<\/span><\/em><\/strong> and to identify and set out short, medium and long term objectives.\u00a0 The plan will also assist the delivery of services, strategies and policies<\/span><\/em><\/strong> that will respond to the community\u2019s changing needs.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We would like as many community members as possible to contribute to the development of the new COMMUNITY STRATEGIC PLAN to ensure it truly reflects the VISION of the Shire\u2019s community.<\/p>\n
