On Saturday 25 November from 10:00 to 11:30 there will be a Bushfire Preparedness event at the Lake Clifton Herron Community Centre, sponsored by DFES, Waroona Shire, Lake Clifton Volunteer Bushfire Brigade and LCHRA. It will be presented by a DFES staff member and Shire and Brigade people will be there to interact with residents, show off the fire truck, conduct tours of the fire station etc.
With many new residents in the area this is a great opportunity to learn how to prepare for the coming fire season and to learn about your local brigade.
