We need a volunteer for a small job

The Lake Clifton Herron Residents Association is seeking a volunteer to audit a grant acquittal. The grant is for the modest amount of $16834 and was used for weed control and re-vegetation on the lake verge. We need to have the audit completed by 28 February. An accountant or book keeper should be able to check it out very quickly.

If you are able to assist please send a message via the Contact Us page on this site.
Thanks in advance.

Burning Prohibited

Following message received from the Shire of Waroona:

“Please note the Shire of Waroona Prohibited Burning time commenced on 15 December until 28 February 2019. No burning is allowed during this time”

Stay safe everyone and hope that we don’t have any major fires.

Invitation from our Federal Member

Following email was just received from Andrew Hastie:

This is a very quick, urgent email…

I want to invite you to a special community meeting with Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs Minister Alan Tudge tomorrow night to discuss the growing humanitarian crisis facing farmers in South Africa.

This is a developing situation and I’m very grateful to the Minister for agreeing to come to Perth and hear the concerns of our local community – many of whom I know have families affected by the crisis.

Here are the details for tomorrow’s meeting:

The Lakes Theatre, Mandurah Baptist College
