Mosquitoes

It seems that something has caused the mosquito control programme to fail and we have a serious plague. The Dept of Health recommends the use of repellents containing DEET (Tropical strength RID, BushMan etc) plus the usual precautions of loose fitting clothing and avoidance of dawn and dusk periods. The latter is not much use at the moment as they are active all day.

It is likely that the Shires are aware of the problem but it may help a bit if lots of people report that we have an extremely bad situation. The appropriate contacts are as follows:
